The legendary anchor and pioneer of PTV era, Tariq Aziz, passes away leaving melting hearts behind, May Allah bless his soul and grant him a high rank in Jannah Aameen.

Tariq Aziz was the first host of Pakistan television, a poet, actor and a politician. His television show Neelam Ghar which was later renamed as Tariq Aziz Show went on air for 4 decades.

He was 84 years old, died today in Lahore, the death confirmed by his family, and thus one of the respectable and lovable personalities of Pakistan left this immortal world with saddened hearts.

یوں لگتا ہے وقت تھم گیا ہے،رواں دواں زندگی رُک گئی ہے، کئی دنوں سے بستر پر لیٹے لیٹے سوچ رہا ہوں کہ آزادانہ نقل و حرکت بھی مالک کی کتنی بڑی نعمت تھی، نجانے پرانا وقت کب لوٹ کے آتا ہے، ابھی تو کوئی امید نظر نہیں آرہی

No doubt Tariq Aziz will always be in our hearts, his death is a huge loss,  May his soul rest in peace.
